A seventeen-year-old young man fell to his death at a construction site in #Perth/WesternAustralia. Next evening his friends gathered together at the site to express their sadness, emotion and solidarity. 

I was amazed to see the young people in tears. Some burned incense near the floral tributes. My greatest surprise came to see a young girl sitting near the flowers reading a small New Testament Bible.

Communicating with young people is not easy. But understanding their emotion is not difficult. I was quite happy to place a sympathy card near the flowers.

Young fellow, may your 'journey' be safe. God be with you. Peace and strength be with the family
